“God”, Is
it an unsolvable question? It is a mystery, about which people hold various
contrasting opinions. Some say God exists, some say He doesn’t. Some say this
world is because of God, some say it is all a combination of science.
It is a
never-ending, argumentative discussion that will lead you nowhere. Many a times
it has happened that arguing with my atheist friends on this irresolvable topic
has left me exhausted.
At times,
I wonder how one can describe God. You can’t see him around you, then how can
you assure his presence? Is the power of God limited only to that of the stones
which we worship? I personally don’t think so.
God
according to me is an energy or source of positive vibes, which you get when
you truly need it. An eternal support that makes you feel it is there for you,
when you are misunderstood. Someone who knows and trusts you when rest of the
world is doubting you, someone you are scared of while doing wrong, someone who
reprimands you (though not directly) when you commit mistakes, someone who
guides you when you go astray and someone with whom you can share all your
feelings. He is a great friend, a perfect guide, an ardent teacher and an
eternal supporter. God is the energy, the warmth because of which we survive. Just
like a human body, it is alive when it is warm and dead when cold. Consider
human beings, plants or animals, they all work efficiently till the time they
have energy and the day they lose it and become cold , we say they are dead.
That energy is God according to me.
Considering
the instance of condensation of water, the water vapor (which you can’t
perceive), is what God is to atheists. But, to all those who have faith in Him,
He is like the ice (the condensed form); you can see Him, perceive Him, assure
His presence. In lay man terms, God is someone who guides us, is responsible
for every single thing in our life (may be because we don’t want to be held
responsible for every little thing in our life). But to one who has reached a
level higher than the common herd, for him God is there in every being. A
person without malice, ill feelings, greed and most importantly, jealousy is
God. Consider the example of a glass (spectacles) covered with lots of dust.
You won’t be able to see through it clearly, but the day you clear the dust,
you’ll be able to see this beautiful world lucidly. Similarly a man with all
malice, ill feelings, jealousy (dust), will not be able to feel the presence of
God but the day he purifies himself, he will sense the presence of God in him.
God is
the one who reins every single activity of this nature (let that be the blowing
of wind, or managing this universe) everything is under the supervision of the
almighty. Yes, scientists are doing great work in finding scientifically
acceptable solutions to various phenomena, but, they can’t neglect the
existence of God. Scientists only assume and prove things which already exist.
But God is the creator of everything, a supreme power.
I don’t
compel anyone to start believing in God, but I just want people to know that
according to me, yes, God exists. It is commonly said that the world will
appear to you, the way you want to see it.It’s just the way you look at things
that makes a difference.
